A man, identified as Andrew Hallam, has been sentenced to prison for engaging in voyeurism and sexually assaulting multiple women and underage girls. Hallam placed hidden cameras in various locations across Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, and Lincolnshire between 2019 and 2025 to capture footage of his victims in compromising situations. The 45-year-old perpetrator recorded his abusive acts on his mobile phone, including planting cameras at specific addresses to target teenage girls.
Law enforcement discovered a collection of disturbing videos on Hallam’s phone, showcasing victims, including children, undressing in private spaces. The police intervened after one victim reported Hallam’s actions, leading to his arrest and subsequent charge with 20 offenses related to sexual assault, voyeurism, and indecent image possession. Hallam pleaded guilty to all charges and received a sentence of nine years and one month, with an additional four years and 11 months on extended license.
In addition to his prison term, Hallam is now subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order and a restraining order to prevent contact with his victims. Detective Constable Lucy Clarke of Nottinghamshire Police condemned Hallam’s actions as a breach of trust and an invasion of privacy, emphasizing the impact on the victims. She praised the victims for their cooperation in seeking justice and highlighted the need to protect women and girls from such dangerous individuals.
