Amidst the panic onboard triggered by a ‘man overboard’ announcement, the girl’s father heroically jumped into the water to rescue his daughter, keeping her afloat until they were both safely retrieved.
Witnesses hailed the father as a hero for his brave act, with onlookers capturing the intense rescue efforts on video. Investigations revealed that the girl’s fall was a result of her mother instructing her to pose in front of an open porthole for a photo, mistakenly assuming there was a protective barrier in place.
