Following a successful debut in the Flat racing scene earlier this year, Constitution Hill, trained by Nicky Henderson, was heavily favored to clinch the £6,480 prize in the Virgin Bet-sponsored event. Facing a pivotal moment in his jumping career after a series of falls in recent races, Constitution Hill transitioned to Flat racing just over a month ago. Henderson strategically targeted the prestigious £40,000 SBK Road To Cheltenham Novice Stakes at Southwell for the seasoned runner.
