A recent potential sighting of the legendary Loch Ness Monster has surfaced as a devoted enthusiast shared video footage capturing what seems to be a “long neck resembling an anaconda.”
Eoin O Faodhagain, a dedicated follower of the Loch Ness Monster, was monitoring the Visit Inverness Loch Ness webcam when he spotted something unusual. At 2.39pm, he noticed a swift wake about half a mile behind the Spirit of Loch Ness tourist boat.
Shortly after, O Faodhagain witnessed a “thick, long neck” emerging from the water, describing it as “as thick as a man’s thigh” and extending “over three to four feet above the water line.” The creature moved alongside the webcam at Shoreland Lodges before veering out of sight.
In an interview with the Daily Record, O Faodhagain expressed his astonishment, stating, “It is elevated out of the water, as tall as a man, but based on the footage, it does not resemble a human, bird, seal, or otter. What else could it be but Nessie? I am at a loss trying to explain it as anything else.”
The ardent Loch Ness Monster enthusiast noted that this recent sighting closely resembled one he witnessed earlier this year. Additionally, he shared photographs of another sighting from September featuring “two humps” spotted on the VILN Shoreland Lodges Webcam.
Notably, the images from September were captured on a blustery, overcast day, contrasting with the weather conditions during the October 14 sighting. O Faodhagain detailed seeing one hump rise from the Loch Ness surface followed by a symmetrical appearance of a second hump before both disappeared.
Furthermore, he pointed out that there was no other boat activity observed at the time of this sighting. An upcoming Amazon documentary, Expedition Scotland: The Search at Loch Ness and Loch Morar, will document an American woman’s quest to find the Loch Ness Monster, set for release in December.
