During the first end of their match against Norway, British curlers Bruce Mouat and Jen Dodds had to stop play as officials intervened. Despite the delay, Dodds maintained a light-hearted attitude, even laughing amidst the disruption.
Commentator Steve Cram from the BBC chuckled at the situation, noting the power cut at the stadium. The crowd reacted positively as the lights flickered back on after a five-minute delay, allowing the competition to resume.
Dodds and Mouat secured an 8-6 victory, kicking off the round robin phase on a high note. Mouat downplayed the interruption, describing it as a fun experience amidst the great atmosphere and top-notch ice conditions.
