An altercation between a mother and her son took a tragic turn when the young boy fatally stabbed his mother following a dispute over his behavior. The incident occurred after the mother had asked her son to stop playing in the street, leading to a confrontation that ended in a devastating outcome.
Witnesses reported that the mother, Caline Arruda dos Santos, requested a final hug from her son before he unexpectedly attacked her with a knife, resulting in a fatal wound to her abdomen. Moments before the stabbing, the mother had warned her son that she would inform a relative about his conduct.
The nine-year-old boy, concealing a knife under his clothing, approached his mother and inflicted the fatal injury as they stood near the door of their home. Despite her grievous condition, the mother managed to express her final sentiments to her son before being rushed to the hospital, where she tragically succumbed to her injuries upon arrival.
Due to the boy’s age, being under 12, he was not detained by the authorities as he cannot be prosecuted by the Children’s Court. Presently, he is under the care of a relative of the victim, who noted that the boy seems unaware of the gravity of his actions, only learning of his mother’s demise from another individual.
The harrowing incident transpired on Rua Gaspar Leme in Parelheiros, south of Sao Paolo, and is currently under investigation by the Civil Police. This event follows another disturbing case where a teenager was charged with the brutal murders of her mother and stepfather in the United States.
