“Gang Leader Falls to Death in Dramatic Police Pursuit”

Shocking video footage has emerged capturing the moment a notorious gang leader fell to his death in an attempt to evade law enforcement. Ender Alexis Rojas Montan, aged 31, allegedly a key figure in the Alayon Dynasty branch of the Tren de Aragua gang, met a tragic demise as he plunged from an eighth-floor balcony during a police pursuit.

On October 9, Rojas Montan was making a hasty escape from a property in Antioquia as officers from the Colombian National Police broke into his residence. Body camera recordings revealed that as the police forced entry with a battering ram, Rojas Montan tried to slip through the balcony railing but tragically lost his grip, leading to a fatal fall to the ground below.

The apartment raid involved a team of at least five armed officers who apprehended several individuals linked to the criminal organization. Contraband items, including a grenade fragment and a substantial amount of amphetamine valued at $9,550 (£7,110), were discovered hidden within the premises. Among those arrested were Luis Alberto Cabeza Calderon, Yonathan Samuel Urbina Rodriguez, and Daviannys del Jesus Moya Avila, believed to be associated with the same criminal group.

Rojas Montan, wanted internationally for aggravated kidnapping and known for his ties to the Tren de Aragua gang originating in Venezuela, had been evading authorities before relocating to Colombia. He was reportedly involved in expanding the gang’s activities into the Aburra Valley region, with an estimated population of four million people.

The operation that led to Rojas Montan’s demise, named Operation Shadow 3, was a collaborative effort involving Colombian, Chilean, and Peruvian law enforcement agencies, supported by the US Drug Enforcement Agency and Ameripol. Authorities stated that the arrested suspects were allegedly responsible for managing the gang’s illicit drug trade, extortion operations, and human trafficking activities.
